Graduated hammer textured brass and copper domed discs are complimented by a hand crafted rose bronze toggle clasp. This playful necklace was created with the intent to show how working with patina can create a multitude of possible results in working with the same element.
Treasures of Nature
Beginning with Howlite, a white to cream colored stone with grey to black veins, these beads reminded me of horn. Memories of my grandfather, an avid hunter, lead me to resemble the texture and feel of horn in the hand crafted, carved bronze beads in this necklace.
Windows to the soul
This pendant has been created in .999 Fine Silver in PMC3 precious metal clay with a CZ and has then been enameled.
Teardrop Patina Neckalce
This necklace has been created with bronze and copper metal clay beads in graduated tear drop form. The goal here was to create subtle patinas.
Pearl Grey Steel Necklace
This necklace shows off the classic beauty of steel, offset with pearls. Clay used: Hadar Jacobson's pearl grey steel.
The Klimt Ring
Texture is the name of the game when working with Metal Clay. The playful backdrop to the pearl in this off round ring embraces the ease with which texture can be applied in using the cutting edge technology in the jewelry industry.
Grapes on the Wine
Hand crafted Copper leaves and toggle clasp were treated with green patina to emulate grape leaves. Pearl clusters are representing grapes. This necklace was created to be shown at the 2012 Sedona Winefest.
